Why do you need to sign in?
In order to make use of the Bluesky API, users have to be logged in to obtain access tokens that allows this app to make requests on behalf of the user. At this moment it is only used to create follow buttons when you check the following of your own account on this test page.
Please create an app password to log in to our application. We will only accept app passwords, so do not use your Bluesky password!. Get your app password HERE
Please note that we are NOT storing or reading your app password. Once we have the required access tokens we can work on behalf of you.
We are also not aware of any differentiation is authorization scopes, but we will only use API endpoints that are required for any tools or services that we may offer here.
